Cairns & Region

It was the fabulous fishing off Cairns, experienced in the 60’s that drew international attention to this beautiful area, initially establishing it on the Australian Tourism Map which now titles this area, the International gateway to Tropical North Queensland, Australia.
There is now something here for all visitors to enjoy … fabulous snorkeling and diving on the Great Barrier Reef, adrenaline-charged adventures including sky diving, white water rafting and bungy jumping or hiking and exploring the World Heritage listed rainforest locations surrounding Cairns.
A myriad of accommodations are on offer ranging from budget through to 5 star and a host of restaurants, eateries and shopping options fill the city heart.
With a growing local population of approximately 120,000 Cairn’s is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city with warm, sunny tropical days tempered by cooling onshore breezes.
